Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has said that she believes that Cheryl was “right” to announce her separation from footballer husband Ashley, according to a report.
Holden has said that she believes that Cheryl is a “strong woman” and that she will get through her marriage woes.
Amanda told the Daily Mirror: “Cheryl made the right decision.
“Everyone deserves a second chance but she has given Ashley that and she deserves so much better.
“She’s a strong woman and has plenty of caring, supportive people around her.
“She’ll get through it as everyone does… I’m just glad I’m not married to a footballer!”
Holden added that she would be prepared to forgive an affair but confessed that she would find the experience “humiliating”.
She explained: “I’d forgive an affair but not if it happened time and time again.
“It’s too humiliating. I think everyone deserves a second chance but it’s dependent on the relationship between husband and wife.”
