Girls Aloud look set to make a comeback in September, according to member Nicola Roberts.
Speculation surrounding whether the girls would reunite has surfaced recently after Nadine Coyle was said to be jealous of Cheryl Cole’s solo success and her reputation as the ‘nations sweetheart’ on the X Factor.
To add to the reports of a split, Nicola revealed she hasn’t spoken to Coyle since last Autumn when they supported Coldplay on tour.
It was also claimed that Nadz felt as if Roberts was ‘forcing her out of the girl band.’
However, the red head has now stated that the band are not splitting up, claiming they have scheduled a reunion for later this year.
Nicole told the News of the World:“We will be back but we are still free birds at the moment. Everyone says we’ll get back together in September”
She added: “It will be good to spend time with them again, especially Cheryl as she’s been so busy lately so it’s hard to find time to see her,”
