Cheryl snaps up fashion deal in the US

Cheryl is about to conquer America after being offered a lucrative fashion deal for huge US store Kitson.

The bigwigs at the glam firm want to introduce the babe, 26, to the masses as a style icon and plaster her name over their shop windows using her words Fight For This Love as the logo.

A fashion insider said: “This will be huge for Cheryl. Obviously she’s already a big star in the UK but she’s not a household name in America. This will change everything.

“Kitson is one of the most popular shops in LA and is a favourite among celebs. It’s one of the coolest bout­iques, so for Cheryl to be offered her own range with her name at the helm is fantastic news.

“The creators want to use her song title Fight For This Love as the name for the range and are hoping she can design dresses and shoes as well as handbags.

“They are also wanting her to model the collection herself.”

Kitson has been described as Topshop meets Marc Jacobs. The clothes range from £40 for basic items rising to hundreds for the more exclusive clobber.

Our source said: “Cheryl could easily follow in the fashion footsteps of Vic­toria Beckham. She has already had meetings with the brand’s executives who are very impressed.”

Meanwhile, Chezza said: “I love maxi dresses. They hide a multitude of sins if you’ve overdone it with the chips.”
