Cheryl Cole has taken her bid to crack the US one step further and reportedly signed a deal with will.i.am’s record label.
The gorgeous X Factor judge singer, who was recently voted Woman of the Year at the Glamour Awards in London on Tuesday night, has seen her career go from strength to strength in recent weeks.
And her desire for world domination shows no signs of slowing down, with the newly single star now launching her assault on the US market.
Cheryl’s debut album 3 Words, which she worked on with will.i.am, was well received but it seems that the R&B star is determined to make Cole’s new offering even better.
Speaking to the Big Issue, will.i.am said: “[Cheryl’s] dope, I like collaborating with her. We’ve talked about working on her next album, plus we signed her to the label in America. We’re figuring out how we go about it in the States. It has to be something really incredible done in a different way.”
After splitting with her husband Ashley Cole earlier in the year, Cheryl has been repeatedly linked to other men including will.i.am, who is said to be “in love” with her.
She has so far remained tight-lipped about her exact relationship with the Black Eyed Peas star – but it looks light the pair are growing closer by the day.
