Cheryl Cole will definitely be joining Simon Cowell on the American X Factor according to reports.
As part of a multi-million pound deal, the 27-year-old will quit the UK series and use the US version of the show to launch her Hollywood career, the Daily Mail said.
A source close to music mogul Simon Cowell, 50, reportedly confirmed the move to the newspaper, stating, ‘I would say it’s a good bet that Cheryl is coming to America. It’s something that Simon and Cheryl have been discussing for months.’
Cowell first lured the ‘Three Words’ singer away from pop band Girls Aloud when he offered her a slot as a judge on the talent show two years ago.
An insider from the show added, ‘When Cheryl goes to America she will also launch her music career there too. It’s the next part of her big plan, she’s an incredibly hard worker, and she will definitely get a boost by appearing on the X Factor, which is set to be a sure-fire hit.
‘Cheryl loves Los Angeles and this is extremely exciting. It is all part of a fresh new start for her.’
