![]() Cheryl Cole reportedly never wanted to be a judge on The X Factor USA, with her former XF co-star, Louis Walsh claiming “her heart wasn’t in it.” Speaking to Closer magazine, the Irish music mogul has claimed that Chezza “never felt comfortable” Stateside and that despite receiving the sack from the US series, she is happier now. Walsh revealed: “I actually think Cheryl didn’t really want the show. Her heart wasn’t in it and she never felt comfortable there, in my opinion. She did the right thing coming home. She’s happy now, so that’s what’s important.” Louis went on to say that he misses the Girls Aloud star on the UK version of the show, stating: “I miss her drama. There was always some drama around when Cheryl was on the show – and I mean that in the nicest way.” He continued: “There’d be something happening to her puppy or some kind of wardrobe thing going on.” Walsh also addressed Cheryl’s apparent decision to rekindle her romance with ex-hubby Ashley Cole, giving The Flood singer his blessing. The 58-year old admitted: “I always said they’d get back together. I saw a side most people didn’t – when they were together and the cameras were turned off.” He added: “You could tell how much they loved each other. I honestly think Ashley will change this time for her and she will tame him. She just wants to be happy and in love.” Oh Louis, when are you going to learn? Keep that gob shut!

![]() Talking to Louis, it already feels like another era when Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue were trying to out-dress each other each week. After Cheryl was announced as a judge on the U.S. show, and Dannii left, Louis had been holding out hope for the spectacular return of Sharon Osbourne. ‘I would have loved Sharon back, I thought Dannii would be back, too. If I’d gone, too, I would have missed it, because I always get so involved. ‘Sometimes I give my acts more than they give the show and I have sleepless nights because I so want them to do well. I’m usually given the worst category to mentor as well. ‘I felt bad when I heard Dannii wasn’t coming back. I really got to know her in the past two years. ‘We had a difficult time at first, but that was because I was very much in Sharon’s camp. ‘I’m loyal and Sharon is a good friend. She says what she thinks. She and Dannii had their differences, but I think both would have been great this year.’ Louis had his own falling out on screen last year with Cheryl Cole, when he voted for Katie Waissel to stay over Cheryl’s artist Aiden Grimshaw. ‘I have an opinion. It’s not all about you, Cheryl,’ he shouted and was later quoted as saying: ‘I’m fed up of listening to her. It’s not her show.’ But whatever their past differences, they seem on friendly terms now, and he says: ‘When Cheryl came on the first year everybody fell in love with her. She lit up the room.’ So, did he get on with her? ‘Absolutely. I got to know the real Cheryl. ‘I thought it would work for her in America. It wasn’t anyone’s fault it didn’t. It’s a different planet and she’s not as tough as people think. She’s tough on the outside, but sensitive on the inside. ‘She didn’t take up the offer to come back to the UK panel because she probably didn’t want to go backwards. ‘I know she wants to do music, she wants to dance. I’m sure she wants to settle her life down, she’s been working hard for the past ten years.’ Though he hasn’t spoken to Cheryl since she returned, they text each other. ‘On the first day of auditions for The X Factor, I text her, saying: “They’re going to ask me what am I looking for in the contestants this year.” She replied: “Tell them you’re looking for a new Cheryl Cole.” We had a good laugh about that.’ I won’t link back to the disgrace of a website for the source, they even made the headline negative out of something positive Louis said! I’m glad Louis and Cheryl could still have a laugh about it, but I honestly don’t understand why the paper has to be so petty and hateful and are still selling papers, some f**ked up people.

![]() Cheryl Cole will recover from her US ‘X Factor’ heartbreak by reuniting with Girls Aloud. The British pop star – who was dumped from the judging panel of the pop star search show last week – has decided to put the incident behind her, resurrect the on-hiatus group and focus on arranging a tour with her bandmates Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle, according to Cheryl’s former UK ‘X Factor’ co-star Louis Walsh. Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Wonderland launch at the Wyld Bar at the W Hotel, London, he said: “I’ve been on the phone to Cheryl all day, honestly I can show you texts, she’s fine. She’s getting back with Girls Aloud in 2012 and they’re going to tour.” Cheryl’s decision to reunite with Girls Aloud comes after it was revealed she decided not to return to the UK version of the show and both she and the other female judge Dannii Minogue were replaced by Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland. A source said: “She just isn’t in the right state of mind at the moment to go headfirst into a new show. “She’s all over the place, emotionally she’s very fragile. Starting filming on Wednesday would be far too soon.”
![]() Outspoken X Factor judge Louis Walsh has claimed that this year’s series of The X Factor will only feature himself and Dannii Minogue from the current panel, with two new faces replacing Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell. According to News Of The World however, ITV bosses are keen to keep the current line up intact. The newspaper quotes Louis as saying earlier this week: “It will be me and Dannii (Minogue) on the UK show with two more people.” However a show source revealed to the tabloid: “It will be a disaster if they both go. The bosses are desperate to find a way around it but it will be such a huge commitment being on both shows. “Simon’s priority is making the US X Factor the biggest TV show in the world. Cheryl wants to have a life. She doesn’t want to spend two days a week on flights across the Atlantic.” The judging line up for the US version of the programme has yet to be announced, however Cheryl has been tipped to join Simon stateside in a deal worth £3 million. A spokesperson for Cowell would only confirm: “How his role with The X Factor UK will work is still being discussed.” I’d take this with a pinch of salt, I doubt anything has been finalized yet and either way, Louis Walsh loves to run his mouth all the time.

![]() Louis Walsh has claimed that The X Factor “needs” Cheryl Cole. The pair frequently clash on the panel but Walsh told Star magazine that he thought Cole was now the ‘biggest character’ on the show. “I used to think it was Dannii,” he said. “But now it may be Cheryl! “She didn’t like it when I said the show wasn’t all about her! But I was speaking my mind at the time.” He continued: “I do like Cheryl, though – The X Factor needs her. When the cameras are turned off, she’s still a real sweetie. It’s not all an act with her.” Wow Louis saying something nice about Cheryl for once, who knew?

![]() Cheryl Cole has hit back at fellow judge Louis Walsh in their ongoing feud, telling X magazine that the Irish judge was making himself look stupid with his comments. The two X Factor 2010 judges have had a heated war of words this past week, with Louis recently branding Cheryl “trashy with a fake tan!” Speaking about Louis’ outburst to the official X Factor magazine, Cheryl said: “It was really out of context. It was random. I just said to him [Louis] ‘If there’s a problem, come to my dressing room, and let’s have it out. Why are you shouting at us? What’s that all about?’.” “I hadn’t even mentioned myself when he said ‘it’s not all about you – you’re making yourself look stupid!’. No, actually, you are Louis.” Cole’s rant at Louis continued, with Cheryl adding: “Maybe he might think it’s all about the judges because he’s a judge. But for me, it’s about my girls and how they perform. I really don’t care what Louis’ opinion of me is.” But a source close to Louis hit back: “Cheryl’s the one who spends the least time with her singers.” Meanwhile Simon Cowell told The Mirror: “There are definitely two divisions. You’ve got Louis and Dannii, who look like they’ve been sucking on lemons. And then there’s me and Cheryl trying to have a good time.”

![]() Louis Walsh has said he thinks Girls Aloud have too much ‘baggage’. The X Factor judge briefly managed the group after they won the UK TV talent show ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ in 2002. Louis Walsh said that he has great admiration for Nadine Coyle – and thinks that affected his relationship with her bandsmates Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding. Louis said: “I don’t like working with them too much any more because there’s too much baggage and far too much politics. “I always thought that Nadine was the star, that she was the real singer in the band, and the others held that against me.” Louis, 58, also said he thought Cheryl Cole’s spectacular career change was down to her relationship with her footballer ex-husband Ashley Cole. He saide: “Well, Cheryl married a footballer and she totally transformed herself. She’s a naturally beautiful woman and she’s a fashion icon now. “But if you ask me why Victoria Beckham is famous, the answer is because she married a footballer.” Girls Aloud have been on hiatus for the past year.

![]() ‘X Factor’ judge Louis Walsh has suggested that the show doesn’t need fellow judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue. Speaking at the TV3 launch today, Walsh joked that the pair were not missed when absent from Boot Camp recently. Cole was suffering from malaria at the time, while Minogue was on maternity leave from the show. Walsh said: “I don’t think we need the girls because we didn’t need them for the boot camp at all, just me and Simon… They’re hired for their looks.” Seriously shut up. Even the media have claimed that The X Factor have turned into The Cheryl Show. Stay mad Louis. Source |
