 The singer is apparently working with Will.I.Am to add an R&B flavour to the album before its American release later this year. We all know that Cheryl Cole really wants to make it in America, but then again who doesn’t. Reports today suggest the singer is returning to the UK version of the X Factor after failing to nab a seat on the judging panel for the US version, but that isn’t stopping her pressing ahead with her Stateside Launch. The problem is, does it mean Cheryl will have to change her music on order to be a success over there. Will.I.Am is reportedly giving the Geordie Princess’ album an overhaul before its launch in the US to spice it up and “put a few remixes in” to make it more appealing to the music fans across the pond. The question is, how far do you go to be a success without losing the reason you sing in the first place? An artist sings songs in the way they like them, so to actively boost the R&B appeal of the album, which in essence is a pop album, isn’t Cheryl just changing who she is to fit in? The new version of the album, which is planned to be launched with a massive album signing tour, is rumoured to include a new collaboration with the Black Eyed Peas star and is released across America later in the year.

 This just in, apparently the third single off Messy Little Raindrops (Confirmed to be “Everyone”, scheduled for release on March 20th) has been cancelled. Cheryl’s PR tweeted: There is no new Cheryl single scheduled at the moment So it looks like there won’t be anything now, could it really mean that she’s really doing US X Factor? US X Factor auditions start March 27th. Leave your thoughts below or @CherylOnlineNet, would love to hear your thoughts!

 The official confirmation for Cheryl’s third single from Messy Little Raindrops just came in, and it is indeed Everyone feat. Dizzee Rascal. Scheduled for release in the week beginning March 21st. Expect an official press release soon between now to mid February. Excited! I hope there’s going to be a video. A really upbeat, colourful banging video. Source: New Release Schedules

 Sorry guys for posting this a bit later, The Flood was charted at number 18 on Sunday officially after remaining on the same spot throughout the week. This is Cheryl’s lowest charted single. The Flood debuts in the midweeks chart at number 18 as of today (Wednesday), a fairly disappointing position to be at this time of the week as midweeks are extremely crucial, let’s get The Flood to the top 10 at least, if you haven’t bought The Flood, obviously go do that now, why didn’t you buy it? And if you have already, try and buy it 2-3 times more, gift it to a friend or something on iTunes, come on, let’s get her crackin the top 10.  Rumor has it that Everyone feat. Dizzee Rascal is to be released as the third single off Messy Little Raindrops and as an overall 6th single in Cheryl’s solo single chronology. Dizzee Rascal has talked about the collaboration being released as a single before. Last week on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, Alan whispered to Cheryl asking if she was releasing Everyone at the end of the interview, Cheryl nodded her head and seemed to have said yes. So what do you guys think of the potential single choice? Do you like it? If not what would you have chosen?
