Can you believe it? It’s been a year today since we first heard Call My Name, the day we woke up early to tune into BCC Radio One to listen to the first play of the track after over a year without getting any new Cheryl music. Call My Name quickly became the fastest selling single of 2012 and took the number one spot on the week of release. Let’s take a moment here to watch the stunning music video and relive the truly iconic The Voice performance of the song.

It has been talked about all around Twitter, Cheryl’s 6th solo single and third album’s first single will be “Call My Name”. Learned from a screenshot of an email a dancer recieved and tweets, we are able to learn that the video shoot takes place in Los Angeles this weekend.
It has been researched that the song is produced by Alex Da Kid. This is NOT an official announcement, but everything seems pretty legit.
What do you guys think? Hope we get to hear it soon!

Can’t even deal with the teasing anymore!
Cheryl headed back to the studio last night to finish up the last few bits of her album and adding final touches. One of her producers, Jim Beanz, revealed a new song titled “This Is War”.
Cheryl Cole has turned to pop newcomer and Brits sensation Lana Del Rey to help her latest blitz on the charts.
The pair have teamed in a bid for a No1 hit on Cheryl’s highly-anticipated third album.
A source said last night: “Cheryl is a big fan of Lana and was intrigued to hear she had lots of songs written which she wasn’t going to sing herself. She got hold of one and was really taken with it.
“The record label are pretty happy about it because Lana has a massive following.”
New Yorker Lana, 25 — real name Elizabeth Grant — scooped the International Breakthrough Artist gong at last month’s Brits.
Her album of sultry, atmospheric songs shot to No1 in the UK and No2 in the US. The unheard track picked by Geordie Cheryl, 28, is described as an “urban, mid-tempo ballad”.
If this is true I’m not sure how I’d be able to cope, it would be incredible if this was made into a duet.. we could dream right?
