I'm Charlie, I've started this website on my own to support Cheryl, I've been a fan of Girls Aloud since 2005 and was always drawn onto one particular member and that was Cheryl, the fansite is part of me showing my fan support and to give other fans the best source to news and pictures.

I'm 20, living in London and currently a student studying for art foundation and looking to go pursue a career in the creative arts or media area.

Cher, Cheryl Cole

Her namesake Cher Lloyd may have hogged the headlines for the last few weeks but Cher was determined not to be upstaged by anyone at the British premiere of her latest film.

She wore a bright orange wig on the red carpet for last night’s launch of Burlesque, which also stars Christina Aguilera.

However, the 64-year-old’s Julien MacDonald dress has another X Factor link – Cheryl Cole wore a grey version of it to a magazine awards ceremony in May.

After getting complaints for revealing too much flesh on Saturday’s X Factor, Aguilera covered up a bit (but not that much) for the event in Leicester Square.

She wore a low-cut black Stella McCartney dress and a fake fur wrap for the red carpet event.

Aguilera gushed about working with Cher saying: ‘She’s absolutely amazing. She’s a beautiful person inside and out and I learned a great deal from working with her.’

Her co-star Cher added that she loved working with the largely female cast.

‘It was really fun. The girls mostly were together and it was fun being about that many women, sitting around talking during the breaks. We got friendly.’

I was at the premiere last night and Cher was so friendly and lovely <3

Rihanna has been rocking bright scarlet hair and since Cheryl’s new barnet had its first outing, the red-and-purple-hair trend has taken off like a rocket.

“Red, red, red,” tweeted top colourist Lisa Shepherd last week. “Just finished my 16th Cheryl red of the day.”

“Colour-wise, it’s an autumn trend which has taken off since Cheryl took it on,” says Lisa.

“Dark, plummy red softens Cheryl’s features. She just needs to be careful not to overdo the fake tan or blusher otherwise it could end up being too clash-tastic. But to be honest Cheryl’s new colour is finally growing on me. I wasn’t overly keen at first as it looked so artificial.”

Derek Thompson of Gielly Green, where the clientele is rather more sedate and grown-up, pulls a slight face at the thought of hair in the red-purple spectrum. “It’s a hard colour to pull off,” he says, “unless you’re as pretty as Cheryl, or you work at Camden market.”

Technically, Mark Woolley of Electric Hair tells me, Cheryl’s colour is mahogany — it’s L’Oréal Paris Casting Creme Gloss in shade 550, yours for £5.99 in any high-street chemist. But he warns: “The cool tone to Cheryl’s hair colour will not suit everybody so it should be reserved for the daring, in which case the effect will be edgy and striking.”

New York-based celebrity colourist Marie Robinson, who was in London last week in her role as ambassador for Pantene’s new Pro-V colour-protect shampoo, says: “I don’t think there are any rules for who can wear red hair. If you have very fair skin then you have strawberry, copper, vibrant red and mahogany as options. Light and dark olive skin should choose more chestnut and darker auburns that don’t have copper or orange undertones as they make skin look greener.

“If you are prone to ruddiness and blushing, I would avoid all cool red shades and strawberry as they can make skin look pink or bring out redness.”

There are a few other no-nos if you’re tempted by an extrovert colour like this. “Never put dark colours straight over the top of blonde,” says Lee Stafford, “as this has a tendency to turn hair khaki. You have to introduce reds to the hair first to create warmth.” He also warns that unless you look after coloured hair properly, dark-purple hair will go dull and lifeless while lighter lilac will go brassy and straw-like.

Which means you’ll need special, colour-care shampoo. There are many; the latest include Mark Woolley’s first range of hair care products. The Electric Hair Care Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner (electric-hair.com) locks in colour, he tells me, and keeps it up 30 per cent more vibrant than high street brands.

The new Pantene products, which launch in a fortnight, promise to mimic hair’s natural water-proofing to seal in the colour molecules and make them last.

Designer Roberto Cavalli is denying published reports that he allegedly offered British pop star Cheryl Cole £1.3 million (just under $2 mil) to star in his Fall 2010 campaign, a Cavalli spokesperson tells StyleList.

Various media outlets, including UK’s The Mirror, claimed today that Cole had sparked a fashion bidding war as labels fought to have her model for their fall collections.

No dice, says Cavalli.

“Please note that further to false rumors from today’s newspapers and online news sites, the house of Roberto Cavalli have never approached or offered Ms. Cheryl Cole a fee to appear in any of its advertising campaigns,” the designer’s representatives stated to us.

Guess last season’s model, Kate Moss, can sleep a little easier tonight!

Though relatively unknown in the States, Cole is one of the most popular female celebrities in the UK.

In addition to being a member of girl group Girls Aloud, she’s recently topped the charts as a solo artist, serves as a judge next to Simon Cowell on the UK version of “X Factor,” is the face of L’Oreal UK and is married to Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole, though the two are currently separated thanks to his notorious cheating.

Oh well, hopefully in the future!

Cheryl is at the centre of an amazing bidding war between rival fashion houses that could net her up to £5million.

Top Italian designer Roberto Cavalli is understood to have offered the newly single star £1.3million to front his autumn-winter collection.

At least two other major labels – one a famous high street chain – are also said to be interested in signing her up with deals that could be worth a further £2million.

And insiders reckon the 26-year-old Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge could easily double that with international contracts.

Claire Beale, editor of advertising bible Campaign magazine, said: “Cheryl is a great brand icon. She is the Victoria Beckham for a new generation of women – but perhaps cooler and more streetwise than Posh.

“Her fashion credentials aren’t yet up to Victoria’s, and she’s still a little more high street than couture.

“But she combines beauty, poise and elegance with warmth and a big personality.

“That’s a very rare combination and it’s easy to see why she would be an asset to any fashion brand.” (more…)
