I'm Charlie, I've started this website on my own to support Cheryl, I've been a fan of Girls Aloud since 2005 and was always drawn onto one particular member and that was Cheryl, the fansite is part of me showing my fan support and to give other fans the best source to news and pictures.

I'm 22, living in London and currently a student studying photography and looking to pursue a career in the music industry as a music photographer.

L’Oreal and The Cheryl Cole Foundation are launching a Limited Edition Lipstick in aid of The Prince’s Trust, with £1 from each sale going directly to the Trust. It launches in January, priced £8.16 from Boots and Superdrug.

The shade is a vampish, full-blooded red (with blue tones) called Red Passion.

So be sure to pick up yourself one or several for your friends to help the Foundation out.

YOU could own one of Cheryl Cole’s personal dresses through an auction, in aid of the star’s newly launched charity – the Cheryl Cole Foundation. The two-time Vogue cover girl is selling 20 of her most treasured outfits, looks which she has worn on her birthday, on X Factor and during Girls Aloud performances.

“I’m going to miss all of the outfits I have given because they each have a different story and memory attached to them,” she told us.

Via ASOS.COM’s Marketplace, Cole’s dresses will be sold according to the lowest unique bid, which means the lowest amount not bid by anyone else wins the individual piece. The star set up her charity in conjunction with The Prince’s Trust in February this year, in order to raise money for disadvantaged young people from the North East of England.

Cheryl has launched her foundation officially today with a brand new website:

Hello,

This is the website for my Foundation and it’s where you’ll be able to find out about any events and fundraisers or the latest news about the charity.

When I started thinking about setting up a charity I obviously started to think about things that I had been affected by whilst growing up and things that I had seen affected my friends and the young people who lived near to me.

I was very lucky and had opportunities and family influences that stopped me going down the wrong road and making choices that could have easily led to a dead-end situation. I saw this happen to plenty of people simply because there wasn’t help at hand or readily available and nowhere to go to try and make a bad situation better. If I can, I want to try and help young people all over the UK and put money raised through my Foundation into projects like the one’s that The Prince’s Trust already runs. Projects which make it possible to believe in yourself again, learn new skills, build confidence and eventually get a job and make a new start.

In year one my Foundation will be helping The Prince’s Trust work with young people in the North-East. Next year it is likely that we will continue our work with The Prince’s Trust but I want to widen the net to include the whole of the UK and also work with other charities. It is difficult to know at this stage how much money The Foundation will raise which is why I’ve selected one area to begin with but if things go better than expected we will soon be able to set our sights further. Once we have made plans for future grant-giving beyond The Prince’s Trust you’ll be able to find out more here.

Love, Cheryl

Cheryl Cole Foundation

Cheryl Cole is launching her own charitable foundation with The Prince’s Trust following a meeting with The Trust’s President, HRH The Prince of Wales.

The Cheryl Cole Foundation will provide vital funds for The Trust in the North East, helping disadvantaged young people from Cheryl’s own region.

Cheryl said:
Too many young people grow up thinking no-one cares and don’t believe they can make anything of themselves. They have so much potential – but can go off the rails without the right care and support. I want my Foundation to help them realise their potential and get their lives on track.

I have always been a great admirer of the work The Prince’s Trust does with disadvantaged young people across the UK. It’s the perfect charity for my Foundation to support.

Martina Milburn, chief executive of The Prince’s Trust said: “Cheryl is extremely passionate about young people. We’re really excited about working on this new Foundation with her.

“The recent recession has made the work of The Prince’s Trust more relevant than ever, with the number of unemployed young people currently at a record high.

“Support for the Cheryl Cole Foundation and The Prince’s Trust will help disadvantaged and unemployed young people get their lives on track at this difficult time.”

Kristina Kyriacou, director of the Cheryl Cole Foundation, added: “When Cheryl asked me to help set up her new Foundation, it became clear that The Prince’s Trust was the best partner.

“Not only does The Trust already do a huge amount in the North East – the charity is helping exactly the young people Cheryl wants her Foundation to support.”
About the Cheryl Cole Foundation

The Cheryl Cole Foundation will launch this April subject to registration. Over the coming months, its Trustees will agree a fundraising and grant-making strategy.

In its first year, the Foundation aims to help disadvantaged young people in the North East of England through a grant to youth charity The Prince’s Trust.

In time, the Foundation aims to help a number of different causes and future grants are likely to support a range of organisations working in the region.

More information about the Cheryl Cole Foundation, its work and how to donate will be available soon.

A page with all the information will be created next week.
