Cheryl Cole sends birthday wishes to her pal and What To Expect When You’re Expecting co-star Cameron Diaz via Twitter – but was she hacked?
We’ve been waiting with bated breath for over two months for Cheryl Cole to send her first ever tweet. After all, she has already amassed a whopping 225,000 followers. And yesterday was the big day, with Miss Cole hitting the Twittersphere with: “It’s me CC! WHERE MY SOLDIERS AT…….?!!! I can’t believe what my fingers are doing but yes I’m tweeting :-s so here goes…X”
Later, the nation’s sweetheart sent her What To Expect When You’re Expecting co-star, Cameron Diaz, a special birthday tweet: “Happy birthday Cameron, you sexy beeeyyaatchh…X” But later we found out from Cheryl’s PRs that the tweet was sent from Cameron herself as she and Cole palled around on set.
THIS IS HILARIOUS.

CHERYL COLE is set to make her film debut, with a cameo role in Hollywood blockbuster What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Based on the book for expectant parents the film, directed by Kirk Jones, is billed as “a look at the lives of four couples as they prepare to become parents” – and Cole is set to play a talent show judge.
The film boasts an impressive all-star cast including Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker, Chace Crawford, Dennis Quaid, Anna Kendrick and Glee’s Matthew Morrison.
Cole is reportedly set to film her scenes, opposite Cameron Diaz’s character, later this month.
Cat Deeley believes Cheryl Cole could be just as popular in America as she is in the UK.
The Girls Aloud singer is in the running to land a judging spot on the US version of The X Factor – and America’s So You Think You Can Dance? presenter Deeley thinks Cole could do well in the States.
“Cheryl is just completely charming,” Cat told The Sun. “The whole public love her and she’s the nation’s sweetheart – I don’t see why she wouldn’t be that in America too.”
As for Cheryl’s strong Geordie accent – Deeley doesn’t think it will be an issue, as she could always “do something about that” if she had to.
“People talk about the accent all the time – maybe they would understand her, maybe they wouldn’t,” she continued. “It’s difficult to tell but I don’t see it as a stumbling block. She could do something about that anyway if she needed to.”
However, Deeley – who has had success in the US since landing her presenting job – understands that there’ll be a lot of pressure on Cole if she does get the X Factor USA judging role.
“It’s going to be one of the most expensive TV shows ever made. It’s going to have big expectations behind it.”

Cheryl Cole is set to become a huge star in the US if the team behind her move have anything to do with it.
Cheryl’s career across the pond will be modelled on that of Jennifer Lopez’s and will make her a household name in the country.
A source told the News of the World: “A very detailed strategy to make sure Cheryl is a success is in place.
“Within a year she’s expected to be one of the biggest names in America.”
They added: “Every major magazine and TV channel is desperate to be involved with her. They know she’s going to become a major pop culture phenomenon as soon as the deal is announced.”
Do you think Cheryl has what it takes to break into the US market?
Cheryl Cole is still in talks with US TV producers about a possible role on the US X Factor, but Kimberley Walsh says a Girls Aloud reunion won’t revolve around Cheryl’s career.
While the rest of Girls Aloud have been busy getting on with their personal lives, Cheryl Cole has been working hard at her TV career on The X Factor and her bid for a job on the judging panel for the US X Factor.
But Kimberley Walsh has told OK! Magazine that the Girls Aloud reunion will not revolve around Cheryl’s career in the US.
She told us: “There’s been talk that a Girls Aloud reunion is hinged on whether Cheryl gets the US X Factor job. But that’s not true! We will regroup but it will be when the five of us decide the time’s right.
Cheryl Cole is reportedly planning a complete change of style to help her to crack the US charts. Sources close to the Girls Aloud singer told a Sunday newspaper that Cheryl wants a “crazy” new look.
A pal told the newspaper that Cheryl feels she needs a fresh image to help her compete with established US stars.
The insider said: “Cheryl’s met top stylists and photographers to possibly shoot a new album cover as record bosses out here want everything to be fresher and more edgy.
“Cheryl wants to shake it up a bit and go a bit crazy. She feels she doesn’t have much of an image at the moment and wants to stand out from the crowd.
“She knows it will be hard to compete with Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyoncé so she’s prepared to do whatever it takes for people in the US to sit up and take notice.”
The source told the newspaper that Cheryl has said that she will move to Los Angeles whether she lands a place on the panel of the planned X Factor US or not.
I don’t normally post unconfirmed stories like these but this one is an interesting one, one worth discussing also, leave your comments below! I personally think Cheryl should stay what she’s like and not to change up her style just because she wants to compete.
